LSThe Labrador Stockroom

Numbered entries for the working and family Labrador, kept on the northern plains

DESK

About this desk

The Labrador Stockroom is an independent editorial reference on the Labrador Retriever, written from the northern plains of the United States.

What this site is

The Labrador Stockroom is an independent editorial reference on the Labrador Retriever. It is written from the northern plains of the United States for owners, future owners and hunters. The site holds four shelves: health and soundness, training and manners, field and water, care and feeding. Each shelf holds numbered entries. Each entry answers one question.

Who writes it

The desk of The Labrador Stockroom writes every entry. The desk reads published veterinary literature, registry documents, club records and field trial reports, then states what those sources say. Any kennel, club, registry or veterinarian is described in the third person. Photographs are generated images made for each entry and captioned as plates.

How an entry is made

An entry begins with one question. The desk gathers sources, names each source it read, and writes the answer in plain American English. Every entry carries the date it was last checked. When a source changes, the entry is checked again and the date is updated.

What it refuses

The site sells nothing. It lists no breeders and takes no bookings. It gives no medical advice and no training guarantee. Corrections and removal of personal data are handled by email at contact@dakotatklabradors.com.
