Contact the desk
How to reach the desk of The Labrador Stockroom by email, what to write about, and what happens to a correction, a source or a question.
One address
The desk of The Labrador Stockroom reads one mailbox: contact@dakotatklabradors.com. There is no telephone line, no contact form and no booking calendar. Messages sent to any other address are not part of the record and may go unread.
What to write about
Three kinds of messages belong here.
A correction. If an entry states a fact that is wrong, name the entry by its number and shelf, quote the sentence, and give the source that shows the error. A date of publication, a study, a breed club document or a veterinary reference all help.
A source. If you know a paper, a registry record, a club health report or a working test result that an entry should have read, send the citation. The desk adds sources it can verify.
A question about an entry. Ask about a method, a term, a number or a date. Questions about a single dog, a litter, a price or a breeder are outside the work of this site and are not answered.
What happens next
Every message is read. A correction that holds is applied to the entry and the date it was last checked is changed. A source that checks out is added to the list. A question that concerns the text may become a new numbered entry. The desk replies when a reply is useful, and it does not promise a delay. Requests to remove personal data are handled by the same address and are acted on.
The desk signs as the desk of The Labrador Stockroom.
